These two are absolutely wonderful!! They have had many changes over the past few months and they are doing really well considering all that has been thrust upon them. They are both very sweet and laid back cats…very gentle. Playful and engaging with their people…they are a bit shy right now…trying to adjust to their foster home and the adoption center at PetSmart. With some patience, they should do very well in their new home…they just need to feel safe and secure.
Both siblings have received recent veterinary exams and dentals. They are current on shots and tests. Basically, they are ready to roll for their next adventure…a new forever home!!

Heston – DSH black and white bobtail
Birthdate: March 2005 Contact: Michelle at 256-837-4627 or 256-520-2517 (you can email her too…mikenshelli@knology.net). Heston came from a nice area in the county where some great folks were nice enough to feed a bunch of stray feral cats. They contacted Forgotten Felines to get some assistance with spaying and neutering the colony to prevent further unwanted litters of kittens. Heston, was what we like to call a “bonus cat”; he was a cat they didn’t even know they were feeding!! That was Heston’s good fortune, because it turns out he is a really great cat and doesn’t deserve to spend the rest of his life outdoors.
Heston is one true character!! He is a big, huge ball of love…he loves people, cats and well, he’s trying to like dogs ; ) He would do fine with a cat friendly feline and the right introduction techniques. For a boy his size and age…he is playful and energetic. He will come flying through the air to grab at his favorite Dollar Tree toy. It’s nice that he still wants to play and interact but it’s not overwhelming and he does love his down time too.
The great thing about Heston is that he is one of those cool “all-around” kind of cats. He has his moments of play but then he loves to just sit down next to his favorite people and watch some TV…of course, if you have a spare hand to pet him, that would be great too!! He is not afraid to roll over and give you his tummy to rub…which by the way, is super soft and warm. And when he’s all happy and content…watch his cute bob-tail swoosh around…you know Heston is in kitty nirvana when that happens : )

Kali – senior, female torti Kali is a beautiful tortoiseshell mature cat. She lived the ideal cat’s life lounging in her master’s lap and being petted every day until he passed away. She had always been a sweet happy cat. Now that her world is turned upside down and she is in a strange place, she is mad at the world and hissing at everyone. Please help us find a senior, preferably a man, who would love to sit with this regal cat in his lap and pet her for hours every day. Kali needs quiet home with no kids and no other animals, where she can be the queen once again. |
